Thematic Breakouts

video-icon Watch Quick Guide

Each Thematic Breakout includes a demographic analysis (e.g., rank, race, gender) and a disciplinary analysis (e.g., humanities, social sciences). Some themes include additional analysis for items that fit the theme, but do not fit a Benchmark. This happens when an item does not use a five-point Likert scale or when the nature of the question does not lend itself to analysis by a central tendency (i.e., a mean).
